Franklin Roosevelt Library and Home
The Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site contains “Springwood”, the lifelong home of
America’s only 4-term President. Also on the site is the Presidential Library and Museum.
Visitors may enjoy a guided tour of FDR’s home, take a self-guided tour of the Museum and
stroll the grounds, gardens, and trails of this 300-acre site.

United States Military Academy at West Point
West Point is not open for self touring. Visitors may take a nominally priced
guided tour of the Academy grounds departing from the West Point Visitors Center.
Visitors may also tour the West Point Museum to view what is considered to be
the oldest and largest diversified public collection of miltaria in the Western Hemisphere.

Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site
Visit the nation’s first publicly owned historic site and tour the rooms where American history was made.
It was here that Washington rejected the idea of an American monarchy; ended Newburgh conspiracy, preventing
potential military control of the government, created the Badge of Military Merit, forerunner of the Purple Heart, and
circulated an influential letter to State Governors outlining the key principles for a new republic.
